Japanese antique silk wedding kimono, 1910-20's
Very rare early 1910-20's item of Japanese fine art, eye-catching
wedding kimono.
Outstanding hand-painted and applied with silver folia
picturesque motif with pair of white flying storks, flowers,
pines, plum blossom, bamboo, palace cart, folding fans and
other Japanese good wishes symbols on back 'chirimen'
silk background. Kimono is fully lined with scarlet and
white silk.
Kimono has slightly padded hem for trailing when walking.
Stunning interior design statement and also great collectors
item or to wear for theatre stage.
Kimono is in excellent condition and has fine antique taste.
