Japanese Young Samurai doll, 1980's

Japanese traditional
doll of a young samurai, standing with kabuto
war helmet in one his hand and golden fan in other hand.
Young Samurai dressed in blue silk brocaded kamisimo
adorned with golden clouds motif and ivory colored kimono
with golden chrysanthemum flowers. The sleeves of his
kamisimo are thrown off and painted with war helmet
kabuto on each sleeve.
His long black hair tied up in a bundle on the back of the
head.
The doll was made by the famous Japanese doll artist from
Kyoto.
Dimensions: 43 cm /16,9 inches high
