Absolutely rare and extremely large Japanese doll represents  ancient Japanese postal carrier HIKKYKU (means outrunner or swift feet)
The man dressed in traditional Japanese checkered cotton jacket - hanten with twisted fabric belt, loincloth - fundosi and  neckerchief. He holds a wooden stick with forked end.
The doll is crafted in 1960's ensuring the finest quality and craftsmanship.
The doll's face hand-painted artistically and the face and body are made very realistic as real human being.
Highly collectibles doll is in excellent with no damage.
