Very rare Japanese Satsuma antique porcelain censer (kouro) depicts
a little boy sitting with big golden-red festival mask of
open-mouthed Shi-Shi, mythical creature ( Lion of Buddha)
on his head.
Over glaze coating, relieves, gilt, enamels, hand-painting,
hand-modeling.

Late Edo period,
