Japanese Antique Cloisonné Vase with Nightingale and
Cherry and Plum Blossom motif
Finely rendered impressive enamel (cloisonné) antique vase
with small nightingale on flourishing branch of cherry and
plum in various tender colored enamels against rich blue
background. Very rare. Elegant in shape wonderful work of
Japanese fine art. All done in silver wires of varying thickness.
The vase has silver rim and base.
Because the vase has been
stored in the box and has not been used, it is in
excellent condition. Unsigned. Highly collectible.
About 1900's.
